As the meeting host and coordinator every year for Bergstrom Electric’s Annual meeting, I am in charge of finding a guest speaker that can come in and help our employees reach their potential, learn something new and build up camaraderie within our company. Our employees are located throughout the state and it is difficult for us all to come together at one time and share common interest, fellowship and ideas with each other.

One day we received a call from one of our foster grandparents, telling us about a great speaker she had just heard at her volunteer work station. We were in the process of finding someone to speak/entertain at the Red River Valley Foster Grandparent Program’s annual recognition in Grand Forks , ND . We had heard of Missy Ohe before, so decided to see if she was available. We were able to book her to speak to our group of 90 Foster Grandparents, Senior Companions, Advisory Council Members and Volunteer Wrok Station Staff. Missy was very thorough in her research of our organization. She made a very good connection with the audience and was very heartfelt in her delivery. Missy made the group laugh and tear up.
